Student Disability Services Imperial Valley

Overview
Student Disability Services - Imperial Valley (SDS IV) provides academic accommodations and support for students with disabilities to ensure equal access to higher education. Our goal is to minimize barriers and promote student retention and graduation through services, technology, and advocacy.
We serve students with various disabilities, including visual, communication, learning, psychiatric, attentional, mobility, and other functional limitations, as well as those who are deaf or hard of hearing. Students must provide documentation to determine eligibility.
Available accommodations may include note taking, accommodated testing, sign language interpreters, accessible textbooks, and assistive technology. Temporary disabilities may also qualify for certain services like note taking, special parking, or cart service. SDS IV currently supports over 25 undergraduate and graduate students.
Qualified students may also have access to an assistive technology through the Department of Rehabilitation.
Our Mission
Student Disability Services - Imperial Valley (SDS IV) is dedicated to empowering students with disabilities by ensuring they have access to appropriate support and services that minimize academic and physical barriers.
