2026-27 SDSU Imperial Valley Student Housing Rates
The 2026-27 double-occupancy rate is not expected to exceed $8,021 per student for the full 11.5-month term. Please note that rates are subject to change.

Payments
Housing charges will be billed in ten installments, which are scheduled for August through November, then January through June.
- August 20 - 1st installment due
- September 20 - 2nd installment due
- October 20 - 3rd installment due
- November 20 - 4th installment due
- January 20 - 5th installment due
- February 20 - 6th installment due
- March 20 - 7th installment due
- April 20 - 8th installment due
- May 20 - 9th installment due
- June 20 - 10th installment due
Housing bills are issued electronically and are due on the 20th of the month.
Financial Aid
Financial aid can be used to help cover housing costs. We encourage you to connect with your campus Financial Aid Office to learn how your individual aid package may apply toward rent.
