License Agreement
The license agreement for SDSU Imperial Valley and Imperial Valley College Intersegmental Student Housing spans 11.5 months (August through July), allowing you to remain in housing through the summer.
By signing the Student Housing License Agreement, a student is indicating that they are an adult who is mature and capable of handling the responsibilities of living on campus, which include being accountable for their behavior, recognizing the compromises necessary when living with others and confronting someone who violates their rights.
The terms and conditions, as well as policies and regulations, govern all residents. By completing and signing the license agreement, a student agrees to all of these provisions. Please read these provisions carefully before submitting a completed license agreement on the Housing Portal.

Cancellations
To avoid penalty charges, cancellations must be completed before the cancellation deadline.
2026-27 Cancellation Deadline: July 20, 2026
To initiate a cancellation, the student must submit a request from their e-mail address connected to your my.SDSU account to [email protected] and specify your inquiry is regarding SDSU Imperial Valley and Imperial Valley College Intersegmental Student Housing. The email must be received by the cancellation deadline and include the following: Full name, SDSU Red ID number and a brief explanation regarding cancellation.
Cancellation requests received after July 20, 2026, will be assessed additional cancellation charges per the 2026-27 SDSU Imperial Valley Intersegmental Student Housing License Agreement Terms and Conditions.
