Nursing Leadership in Health Care Systems

Concentration Chair: Dr. Amanda Choflet, [email protected]

SDSU’s Master of Science program in Nursing Leadership in Health Care Systems prepares innovative and visionary nurses for leadership positions at all levels of health care organizations who can transform the future of health care delivery.

The curriculum will guide you to develop your personal leadership skills and apply them to executive-level communication and relationship management, business principles and skills, strategic planning and project management, and your role as a healthcare advocate and policy expert.

The program can be completed in 2-year or 3-year plans and incorporates in-person, online, and experiential learning. By the time you complete your Master’s Degree, you will be prepared for the Certification in Executive Nursing Practice designation offered by the American Organization of Nursing Leadership.

The program is accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). The program also meets the guidelines outlined by the Council on Graduate Education for Administration in Nursing (CGEAN).
