Carlos R. Herrera, Director and Associate Professor of History
Professor Herrera grew up in the border town of Calexico, California. He holds a Bachelors degree in History and Psychology from the University of San Diego, and a Masters Degree from the University of San Diego. He earned his Ph.D. in history from the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque. His scholarly interests include Colonial and Modern Latin America, The Spanish Borderlands, and the History of Latinos in the United States.
