Assistive Technology Center
The Accessible Technology Center (ATC) provides support for students with approved accommodations for use of Accessible Technology for their classes offered here at SDS-IV.
Services Provided
Assistive Technology
- The Accessible Technology Center provides access to assistive technology as well as Accessibility features through standard software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Access.
- The Accessible Technology Center also provides access to various assistive software, Note Taking Application/Software and hardware technologies for qualified students.
Alternative Media
- SDS-IV students who are authorized for alternative media accommodations will consult with ATC advisors to obtain accessible formats of their required instructional materials.

Eligibility Requirements
- SDSU students who are registered with the Student Disability Services - Imperial Valley (SDS-IV) and have a verified disability are eligible to use the Accessible Technology Center.
