inaugural report
In the aftermath of the global COVID-19 pandemic and racial justice unrest in the United States, in November 2021, we inaugurated the Cross-Cultural Center (CCC) in the Division of Student Affairs at San Diego University-Imperial Valley (SDSU-IV). The CCC was created in alignment with SDSU’s 2020 Institutional Commitment of Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (JEDI) and in support of SDSU’s 2020-2025 Strategic Plan to transcend borders and transform lives, SDSU-IV’s 2020-2025 Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Plan to improve and create an inclusive campus climate for students, faculty and staff and the Office of HSI Affairs' mission to serving Chicanx students and transborder communities.
