Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN-BS)

San Diego State University’s RN to BS program is designed for licensed Registered Nurses seeking to advance their careers by earning a Bachelor of Science in Applied Arts & Sciences, (BS)

Students currently enrolled in an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program can begin taking RN to BS courses at SDSU through Cross Enrollment This allows students to take one course per semester while still in their ADN program, helping them get a head start on their BS and reducing future course load.

For Second Baccalaureate Students (those with a prior non-nursing bachelor’s degree) the program may be finished in just 6–12 months, as many general education requirements are waived.

We look forward to hearing from you!
